Meet the Maker
After earning her MFA in Ceramics from Georgia Southern University, Lois completed a residency at the Hambidge Center for the Arts and spent years making and working at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia and Apparatus Studio in NYC. She now lives in Statesboro, Georgia, where she teaches workshops and maintains her studio at the Roxie Remley Center for Fine Arts — bringing over 13 years of craft to every piece she makes.
I make pots for everyday use as well as sculptural works. I’m interested in the daily ritual our connection with these handmade objects creates.
